I flew home to Little Rock on Wednesday, the 21st before Christmas to spend the holiday with my family. Rhett had never flown before and it was actually the first time I'd flown in a while and since I had Rhett. He did great on the airplane. My best friend, Amy, flies all the time with her daughter, who's just 10 days older than Rhett, so she had some good tips and advice. It also helped that there was a sweet couple next to me, about my parents age with kids the same age as my brother and me. They helped to entertain Rhett and keep him happy and laughing during the short flight. They fell in love with Rhett and said they were ready for grandkids after meeting him. I already mentioned how sweet they were :).
The next night was Rhett's official 1st birthday and he shared a party with my grandmother, who's birthday is the 26th--she turned 89. I have photos on my phone but I didn't take any on my nice camera. I figured he had enough photos from his other birthday party. It went about the same as his other one. He loved the cake - chocolate this time - and loved the ice cream even more. My great aunts and cousin were there and gave him more presents. This kid is going to be rotten...
