Christmas Eve, my mom's side of the family comes over, the Hendersons. Rhett got to meet several of my cousins from that side for the first time as well as his 2nd cousins who are a little closer in age to him. You can see in the photos, the day before Christmas Eve Rhett fell pretty hard and hit his head on the corner of the wall. He immediately had a bump that turned bright blue. He falls and has hit his head often but I'd never seen a bump pop out so fast and turn so blue instantly. My dad was freaking out but turns out, this sort of stuff is normal and will happen fairly often :).
Christmas day was fun this year for Rhett. He's not completely into it but definitely more so than this time last year when he was 3 days old.
When we got back, we had another Christmas with Mitchell's family on the 27th, which unfortunately, I have no photos from it. I strained my back (throwing and lifting Rhett) on Christmas Eve and by the time we got back, after the 5 hour drive, I could barely move. I had horrible muscle spasms that night and throughout the next day so taking photos that evening wasn't an option for me. I was lucky to be there. Needless to say, with 2 birthday parties and celebrating Christmas on 3 different occasions, this boy is spoiled! We have more stuff for him then we know what to do with!
