Rhett's 1st Birthday Party - December 17, 2011

I consider his first birthday party a success! We had plenty (actually way more than enough) grub and beer and pretty much all of our friends and family there (minus the Jeter's because we will be in AR with them on his real birthday this week). We couldn't have asked for more and we feel so blessed and lucky to have everyone of these beautiful people in our lives. Rhett is going to have the most amazing friends in life (as well as the cutest - I'm telling you every one of Rhett's cousins and friends are simply adorable.) Thanks to everyone who came. We love you all! (BTW - All of these kids in these photos are less than 2.5 years old. Man, we all got busy having babies at the same time.)  :)

Photos from last weekend (December 9, 2011)

Below are some shots of us decorating the tree. Rhett was really starting to walk more than crawl here. He'd been taking steps since 10.5 months but still mainly crawling. We went on a Friday night to Sandone's (behind Keller's on NW hwy) to pick out our tree with Rhett. He loved it. Then, of course, we had to get burgers and beer afterwards. The next set of photos are from our Christmas card photo session via my camera on the tri-pod. This was the first one we took and it actually worked out pretty well. Mitchell took some pics of Rhett and I too. Lastly, our dear friends Kyle and Laura gave Rhett the most adorable cowboy boots for his birthday. I love them. He's just got to learn to walk in those big heals!
