He has a somewhat new whine. He uses it as communication to let you know when he wants something or wants to be picked up. Mitchell hates it. It's not a cry and he's not saying words, it literally is a moan or whine. My parents called me Wendy Whiner when I was a kid, maybe he's the next Wendall?
He's said Mama a few times. Mainly when he's upset. Mitchell still hasn't heard it and doesn't believe me. Haha!
He's not crawling yet. He will go from sitting up to all fours and he's starting to rock while on his hands and knees. I had to drop the crib down because I noticed when he was sitting up in his crib he'd started trying to pull up on the sides. No teeth yet either. You can clearly see where they will be soon on the bottom. His gums are very swollen and sometimes I do a double take thinking he's already gotten them.
Also, he's eating solids so well! He has pretty much loved everything I've given him recently which includes apples, bananas, blueberries, carrots, peas and squash. I make his food so I've been seasoning it with garlic, pepper and cinnamon. Developing that pallet early :).
Lastly, he's had an ear infection in both ears. It started last week with a little fever and a runny nose. It didn't seem to stop him though. He was still pretty happy and sleeping well (minus the first two nights when his fever was highest).
