4 to 5 months

So I've been super busy with Jara Hill Photography and haven't had time to blog or take photos of Rhett other than on my iPhone. Here's a quick update with what's been going on with him the past month.

He's been rolling over since around 2.5 months but now he goes both ways, from back to tummy and tummy to back. He pretty much just log rolls anytime you lay him down on the floor. One day I looked over and he'd gone from his play mat to middle of the hardwoods.

He's trying to sit up. He can do it on his own for a bit but then he leans to his side to be done with it. Still working on that one.

He's eaten solids a few times. Rice cereal, sweet pototaoes and avacado. I normally give it to him just once a day before bath time. He's still breast feeding 6-7 times a day.
He's sleeping very well still. He normally goes down between 7:30 and 8 pm and doesn't wake up until 4:30 or 5 - eats, then goes back down until 8 am (which makes mama very happy). He loves his doggy and he loves sleeping with it over his face. He's also loving just being in his crib. He wakes up in the morning playing and laughing and sometimes I see him on the monitor during naps rolling over and talking. I will go in there and he's completely sideways or at the other end of his crib.

He loves standing on his legs. He's super strong and will stiffen up all the time when you're holding him so you can't make him sit. :)

He loves the dogs and being outside to watch them run around and play. He laughs at them and coos. Lady and Minnie lick him in the face constantly and Rhett will open his mouth and laugh. So sometimes they lick him in the mouth...oops.

He's also super ticklish! See video.

He's now grabbing is feet. Mainly just his left foot with his left hand. Lots of times his right hand will be in his mouth while the left grabs his foot. He likes sitting in his chair doing this while watching Baby Einstein aka baby crack!

New toys! His buddy Henry has grown out of his jumperoo so he's letting us borrow it. Rhett is obsessed with all the toys surrounding it.
He's getting very handsy and graby. Those arms just go for and reach for whatever his around him.
Overall, he's a "groovy" baby and we love him to pieces! He seems to be strong-willed, he likes attention and is very social. That's my boy!
Thanks Aunt Gabby and Uncle Mac for my super cool, tie-dye onesie. It's awesome!
